WHO WAS GORDON hirabayashi?

Gordon Hirabayashi (1918–2012) was a Japanese-American sociologist and civil rights activist who opposed the internment of Japanese Americans during WWII, resulting in a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case. Later moving to Canada, he became a professor at the University of Alberta, influencing anti-racism efforts and human rights education globally.
